兼務教員５名から組織され、ほかに客員教員、研究推進協力員で構成されます。
主な業務内容は、講演会やシンポジウム・研究会を通じて平泉研究の地域への発信、研究成果をやさしくした平泉学の教育現場への還元、柳之御所遺跡や長者ケ原廃寺跡などの世界遺産追加登録事業の支援・協力を推進します。
■Department of Education and Regional Contribution
This department is composed of five instructors holding dual posts at the centre and university, honorary instructors, and research staff. The main duties are to share research about Hiraizumi through symposiums and conferences, explain the “Study of Hiraizumi” in an easy-to-understand manner at schools, and support the World-Heritage-Site application for registration of the Yanagi No Gosho Ruins and Chojagahara Haiji Ato.
