計測でできる事
遺跡や遺構・庭園・文化財などをデジタルデータに変えることで、その形状や地形を将来につなぐことができます。また、このデータは三次元化できるため、計測したものをディスプレイ上で仮想的に再現することができます。
計測方法
3Dレーザースキャナは、遺跡等の計測対象物に対しレーザー光を発信し、跳ね返ってきた信号からその距離や方角を認識します。認識したデータは点状態の座標値として記録されます。対象物全体をあらゆる角度から計測するため、多くの座標値で表現されることから、計測後のデータは【点群データ】と呼ばれます。

The 3D Laser Scanner digitizes artefacts and cultural assets at high speed and with high accuracy. Measurements are converted into digital data, ensuring information about an object’s shape and terrain is persevered for the future. This data can be reproduced three dimensionally for displays.
Measurement Methods
The 3D Laser Scanner emits lasers unto an object from all angles and recognizes the distance and direction of the signals that bounce back. This data is recorded as points with coordinate values, referred to as “point cloud data”.
